(Albuquerque) Albuquerque police arrested Bill Miller at approximately 10:30 on Monday morning, February 12, 2001. Miller was arrested near his home. As a precaution, police evacuated nearby homes shortly before arresting Miller. Several members of the police department’s SWAT team stood-by as the arrest went down. This extra caution likely occured because it is known that Miller posseses firearms and has been described as somewhat “anti-government.”
Charges against Miller are directly related to the diappearance and presumed murder of Girly Hossencofft in early September of 1999. The charges include first degree murder, conspiracy to commit first degree murder, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, harboring a felon and tampering with evidence.
Miller is the third suspect now behind bars and charged with Girly’s murder. Diazien Hossencofft and Linda Henning have been in custody for more than a year.
